Complementary programme for nurses with a nursing degree from outside the EU/EES and Switzerland 60 credits
Are you a nurse with a degree from a country outside EU/ESS/Switzerland? Would you like to work as a nurses here in Sweden?
In the spring of 2019, the University of Gävle will offer additional training for nurses with degrees from a country outside EU/ESS/Switzerland. It is a full-time study programme which is one year long (60 higher education credits), containing both theory and clinical training in field placements places.
The programme
Through the programme you will gain skills and knowledge which meet The National Board of Health and Welfare’s requirements for a Swedish nurse certificate. Our supplementary programme with its combination between theory and clinical training gives you insights, understanding and knowledge necessary for working as a nurse in Sweden. The programme builds on your previous studies.
