After the completed education you will have plenty of career opportunities Social planners are in great demand from social planning offices within municipalities, county administrative boards, construction companies, consultancy companies or authorities such as the Swedish National Board of Housing, Building and Planning, the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency and the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency.
If you would like to further your education you could continue studying at Master level within social planning, social geography or physical geography in Sweden and the rest of Europe. In Canada, the University of Gävle has a well-established exchange programme with Thompson Rivers University.
